The Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Peloponnese was established with the Presidential Decree 138 of the 17th of May 2002 "Establishment of the Faculty and Departments of the University of Peloponnese" (Adjunct).With the same decree, its departments were established: the Department of Computer Science and Technology and the Department of Telecommunications Science and Technology.

In the same Faculty the Department of Energy and Industrial Technology is to be established.
