Christina D. Nikolakakou was awarded her Diploma (first academic degree, Ptychio) and PhD in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras, Greece. She also holds an MSc by the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program ‘Mathematics of Computers and Decision Making’, offered by the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras, Greece. From October 2020 she is Laboratory Teaching Staff in the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Peloponnese, Greece. He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests include unconstrained optimization methods, numerical analysis and operational research.
