Dr. Areti Vogopoulou, Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes. She completed a PhD in Sociology of Education and Critical Policy Studies (2020). She currently serves as Project Officer in the University of Peloponnese program EUNICE – European Universities for Customised Education (2023–present), where she is Co-Leader of the Work Package on Experiential Learning and Academic Coordinator of EUNICE Shared Courses for the University of the Peloponnese. She is also a full-time faculty member in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of the Peloponnese, where she teaches English for Specific Academic Purposes, and serves as the Academic Erasmus Coordinator for her department. Her research focuses on global and European policies in Higher Education, particularly language policies and practices, and the ways in which ‘new’ policies shape legitimate forms of knowledge, governance, and identities when recontextualized in national settings.
