Πρακτική Άσκηση

 

Practical Training (PT) at the University is an institutionalized educational project, which corresponds to a course, compulsory or optional, of the curriculum. It gives students the opportunity to come into direct contact with the labour market and to put into practice the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies, while acquiring new knowledge and skills. 

PA, as a course included in the Curriculum, has a defined duration and credit units, in accordance with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The Practical Training is offered in any of the last 4 semesters of the curriculum.

The benefits that the University of Peloponnese aims at through the implementation of the Internship are:

  • Familiarization of the student with the labor market (requirements of employment agencies, management of labor relations, acquisition of professional awareness and ethics, taking initiative)
  • Acquisition of work experience relevant to their field of study
  • Linking studies with professional employment and finding ways of combining different disciplines in their employment
  • highlighting the skills of trainees
  • Professional networking of students and linking studies to the labour market
