The University of the Peloponnese provides the opportunity for scientists to carry out Postdoctoral Research in areas that fall within the research interests and cognitive subjects of its Departments.

Postdoctoral research is defined as research conducted in an academic unit of the University of Peloponnese by a researcher who holds a PhD degree and is accepted by the Department in the context of updating studies in relation to advanced research.

(d) to strengthen scientists capable of contributing to the advancement of science, research and applications,

(e) the promotion of the academic prestige and international recognition of the University's research work.
