A new era begins for the University of the Peloponnese as it is officially a member of the family of European university alliances. According to the results announced by the European Commission, EUNICE, the European University Alliance for Customised Education, which now has 10 European universities as members - including the University of the Peloponnese - has been selected to continue its development (https://eunice-university.eu).

With a vision to transform the educational experience for both students, teachers and researchers on a European scale, EUNICE member universities aim to create and develop personalised educational pathways, promote knowledge exchange between staff, foster interdisciplinary research and implement educational approaches that address global challenges while addressing regional socio-economic

How do we intend to achieve the above objectives?

With the opportunity to develop not only academic but also broader competences and skills

  • Through the promotion of experiential learning and mobility
  • By developing research bridges between the university, society and business

The Rector of the University of the Peloponnese, Professor Athanasios Katsis, expressed his thanks to the entire team that worked for this purpose and stressed that this development marks the outward-looking development and course of the Institution, expecting the active participation of all members of the academic community of the University.
