The Technology and Innovation Transfer Unit (TTI) of the University of Peloponnese was founded in 2022 with the aim of supporting and exploiting academic research, as well as connecting with the market. In particular, it serves the academic and research staff of the University, who have reached potentially commercially exploitable research results, as well as natural and legal persons and organizations of the private and public sector who are interested in collaborating with the University of Peloponnese on issues of research exploitation and technology transfer.
Basic services
A) Management of Intellectual Property and connection with the Market: MMTK proceeds with the diagnosis of the commercial maturity of the IP, the formation of a strategy for the commercialization of the rights, the final commercial exploitation of the IP, as well as the negotiation for the formation of technology transfer contracts.
B) Innovative ideas and business acceleration: MMTK contributes to the emergence of entrepreneurial and innovative ideas arising from the academic research of the University of Peloponnese. The basic principle of MMKT is the formation and provision, to researchers and research groups, of a business acceleration framework in cooperation with expert advisors. In this way, researchers and research groups will be able to benefit from the business methodology, formulating and identifying: their business model with the use of methodological tools, the feedback of their innovative idea, the exploration of the needs of the Market, and the formulation of their desired business plan.
C) Research activity support - education and information: The basic strategy of this axis is the continuous information and education of the entire academic community of the institution about the research performance, the results, the possibilities of cooperation and financing with private and public bodies, contributing to extroversion and optimal funding of the institution.
