The General Assembly of EUNICE European University Alliance was successfully held on 19-20 September 2024 at the University of Mons (Belgium), gathering Rectors, Vice Rectors, coordinators and members of EUNICE teams as well as students from the 10 partner universities. A primary point of interest for the participants was the progress in the creation of Joint Graduate Programmes and the European degree. For this reason, a workshop focused on the development and implementation of Excellence Programmes and Joint Graduate Programmes was held with the participation of Ioana Dewandeler, Policy Officer Higher Education, European Commission.
The event concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (Morocco), marking the first collaboration with a non - European partner within the Alliance.
The University of the Peloponnese (UOP) was represented by the Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs, International Relations and Outreach, Prof. Efthalia Chatzigianni, the members of the EUNICE UOP Team, Dr. Areti Vogopoulou & Kyriaki Kalogeropoulou and the student from the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations, member of the EUNICE UOP Student Advisory Board, Maria Agallou.
