At the end of the event, a press conference was held, which was covered by the journalist Mrs. Eva Galaniadi from the Municipal Radio of Tripoli and broadcast the statements of the UoP Rector, the UoP Vice-Rector, the Vice-Mayor, the Consul of the Italian Embassy and the academic coordinators/s of the ERASMUS+ departments of UoP, the Head of the Erasmus Office of Kalamata and the archaeologist and employee of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Arcadia. During the press conference, the outreach activities of the University of the Peloponnese were analyzed, that with the substantial contribution of local bodies they strengthen, among other things, the mobility of members of the academic community, with a significant impact on the local society.

The students who participated in the event also had the opportunity to speak to journalists about the experiences they are gaining during their academic mobility.

The University of the Peloponnese, following the greatest challenges and true to its values, confirms once again that its outreach activities following the past two years, additionally strengthen the international dimension of the Academic Institution, towards the achievement of one of its main strategic goals: its inclusion in high positions on the national, European and international academic map.

The positive assessments and international recognition of the University of the Peloponnese create new opportunities for the students and increase the number of visitors to the cities of the Peloponnese Region.
