The University of the Peloponnese, represented by its Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs, International Relations and Outreach, Professor Efthalia Chatzigianni, participated in the online event “It´s your education! It´s your Europe!”, which took place on Wednesday 15 May 2024.
This event, a result of the dynamic cooperation between the Students' Council of the European University Alliance ATHENA and the European University Alliance EUNICE, of which the University of the Peloponnese is a member, aimed to mobilize student engagement in the European Parliament elections and to promote informed citizenship within the academic community.
With around 300 registered participants from around 30 countries, the event attracted a variety of stakeholders, including universities, companies, regional authorities and student organisations, serving as a key platform for dialogue and cooperation in shaping Europe’s future.
