Winning students of EUNICE Escape Room visit Brussels

 The three students who achieved the highest score in the EUNICE virtual escape room "Code Europa: The Disruptor Dilemma'', which took place 9-23 May 2024 in the framework of the European University Alliance EUNICE, on the occasion of Europe Day (9 May) and the European Parliament elections (6-9 June 2024), were awarded a trip to the Belgian capital, Brussels.

In particular, Konstantina Loukani from the University of the Peloponnese (Dept. of Political Sciences and International Relations), who achieved the top score out of 647 participants from the 10 members of the EUNICE European University Alliance, travelled to Brussels along with Marcos Gutiérrez (Universidad de Cantabria, Spain) and Lauryn Williame (Universite Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, France), accompanied by Professor Elisa Baraibar (Universidad de Cantabria).

The three students had the opportunity to visit the Planetarium, the European Parliament Visitors' Centre, the House of European History and the "Experience Europe" exhibition center. They also visited the Cantabria Government Office in Brussels, where the director of the office, Inmaculada Valencia, explained in detail how the European institutions work and their importance for the daily lives of european citizens. 

The students left having gained important information about the European Union and the functioning of its institutions.
