Ο Αστέρης Χουλιάρας είναι καθηγητής με γνωστικό αντικείμενο "Συγκριτική Πολιτική και Διεθνείς Σχέσεις” στο Τμήμα Πολιτικής Επιστήμης και Διεθνών Σχέσεων του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Είναι κάτοχος Ευρωπαϊκής Έδρας Jean Monnet για τις σχέσεις Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης – Λιγότερο Αναπτυγμένων Χωρών. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν τις Σχέσεις Παγκόσμιου Βορρά-Παγκόσμιου Νότου, την ανάλυση εξωτερικής πολιτικής και την κοινωνία πολιτών. Asteris Huliaras is Professor of comparative politics and international relations in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of the Peloponnese, Greece where he holds a Jean Monnet Chair on EU Relations with Less Developed Countries. His research interests include Global North-South relations, foreign policy analysis and civil society.
