Associate Professor Georgios P. Heliades has been within the Human-Computer Interaction discipline since the early 90’s. He has a rich professional, research and teaching experience in the design of interactive systems and UX being a faculty member since 2007. At the same time, he demonstrates participation in a sufficient number of research programs, scientific publications as well as membership in a number of prestigious scientific bodies. For the last five years, he has been the Director of the Influence and Interaction Technologies Laboratory of the Digital Media and Communication Department of the Ionian University, where he ran a research group on the design of learning experiences using emerging technology. Currently, he is elected as Head of the Department of Performance and Digital Arts at the University of the Peloponnese.  His teaching classes include HCI, Media Education and Communication in the creative industries.
