
Professors of the Viseu Higher School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, Portugal, met with the Rector of the University of the Peloponnese, Professor Mr. Athanasios Katsis, on Friday, 26 April 2024, at the Rector's Office in Tripoli. During their meeting, in the framework of Erasmus Academic Mobility, both parties exchanged views on the topic of innovative teaching experiences in European higher education. The discussion focused on the actions of the EUNICE European University as both Institutes are partners institutions in the EUNICE European University Alliance.
The Rector thanked the guests for their kind cooperation with the Department of Nursing of the University of the Peloponnese, as well as those who ensured the successful outcome of this project.
He also emphasized that such collaborations open new channels of communication with universities from abroad, contributing significantly to the extroversion, with significant benefits to society.
More specifically, the delegation of five scientists from the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal), consisted of:
• Professor Susana Marisa Loureiro Pais Batista (Scientific Area: Rehabilitation Nursing)
• Professor Luis Miguel Pereira Condeço (Scientific Area: Child and Adolescent Nursing)
• Professor Manuel Pereira Cordeiro (Scientific Area: Child and Adolescent Nursing)
• Professor Emília de Carvalho Coutinho (Scientific Area: Maternal, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing)
• Dr Paula Cristina Dias Rocha (Researcher Specialisation in Rehabilitation Nursing)
The professors stayed in Tripoli for the entire week from April 22 to 26, 2024. During their stay, they gave lectures to the students of the Department of Nursing of the University of the Peloponnese, presenting their research work, as well as the benefits of mobility and cooperation of two Institutions through the actions of the European University EUNICE.
